Walking With Amal

Little Amal walking in Glasgow, Scotland

I learned about Little Amal (the 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian girl) a little bit ago when I heard that she would be coming to Los Angeles to make a couple of stops on her more than 100 free events to help inform the public about the plight of refugee children. It was inspiring: a communal event dedicated to remembering the struggle and hardship of those who go through so much to hopefully get to a better place where they’ll be safer.

If you want to learn more about Amal, you can visit the website HERE.

There are going to be 6 events in Los Angeles through the first week of November. I know that I’ll be going to one, I hope you will too.
