Our Partners
We at Teens at the Door have been so lucky to work with incredible partners to connect with teen refugees and create community.
International Institute of Los Angeles
“Founded in 1914 to help newly arrived immigrants integrate into their new lives in Los Angeles, the International Institute of Los Angeles provides assistance to refugees and immigrants securing their first job, getting legal help, or finding child care providers so they can work outside the home.”
International Rescue Committee
“Founded at the call of Albert Einstein in 1933, the IRC is now at work in over 40 crisis-affected countries as well as communities throughout Europe and the Americas. We deliver lasting impact by providing health care, helping children learn, and empowering individuals and communities to become self-reliant, always seeking to address the inequalities facing women and girls.”
Los Angeles County Office of Education
The governmental office that oversees school districts and public education throughout Los Angeles county. We at Teens at the Door are working to connect with those school districts through the Office of Education to help set up Teens at the Door chapters in LAUSD and other schools.
